I’m pretty lucky that I have a boyfriend that’s into style as much as I am. Boy, does he have an eye! We’ve made it a tradition to visit the Fairfax flea whenever he’s off on Sundays. Let me tell you, he’s great to go with. He helps me on my hunt for some good vintage items, and in return, I help him score some designer boots for a great price.
I’ve had the chance to visit a few good fleas’ in my day, but the one I’ve been visiting lately is the Fairfax Flea market. It’s a great one to go to because it’s every Sunday, it’s the perfect size, and they have just about everything. My best tip: don’t go every Sunday. Why? Because you want to be able to give them time to put some new stuff in!
When D and I go, we like to make a whole day trip out of it. Usually, we start the day off with our church morning service, in OC, then head out right after. We grab some prime time parking, pay $3 to get in, and head straight to one of our favorite little lunch spots inside where they have the BEST Argentinian food. Let me tell you, my Argentinian friends would be so proud! After we grub, we’re ready to HUNT.
Ask anyone, I LOVE LA. There is never a dull moment. Everyone wears what they want, when they want. Let's hear it for the risk takers.
