Denim blues got me feeling good this Valentines Day, but to be honest the idea of denim on denim used to make me feel a little uneasy. Nobody likes to step foot out of the house uncomfortable and unsure, especially when it comes their appearance! To my surprise denim on denim was way easier to style than I thought. My advice; Simply mix washes and textures.
I styled my dark high waisted Madewell jeans with my lightly destroyed denim jacket from Gap. I chose a neutral cropped graphic sweater tee for a casual day look. I'm all about accessories so I added three simple layering necklaces, a thick silver cuff and of course added a bit more B L U E with my clear frame sunglasses with blue lenses I got from Paris.
Dark, faded, bleached or dyed... I love it all! It's a simple classic that will always stick around.
